Join us for a fun, family-friendly day focused on supporting bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other important pollinators! Explore pollinator-friendly plants, hands-on activities, and interactive experiences designed for gardeners of all ages.
Whether you’re creating your first pollinator garden or adding to an established habitat, our Pollinator Party is a great way to learn, shop, and celebrate the beauty of native plants and pollinators.

Pollinator Scavenger Hunt
Explore the greenhouse and search for pollinator clues throughout the event! Kids and families can complete the scavenger hunt while learning about the plants and pollinators that help our gardens thrive.
Pollinator Workbook
Young gardeners can work through our Pollinator Workbook filled with fun activities, facts, and learning opportunities.
Seed Bomb Craft
Children can create their own seed bomb using clay and native pollinator-friendly flower seeds to take home and plant. A fun hands-on activity that encourages growing for pollinators while supporting local ecosystems. Two seed bombs per child, free of charge while supplies last.
Educational Experiences:
Pollinator Identification Posters
Learn to identify common pollinators and discover which plants attract them most. Educational poster stations placed throughout the greenhouse allow guests to explore and learn at their own pace.
Native Pollinator Plants
Discover Maryland native plants and pollinator favorites chosen to support local ecosystems and backyard habitats. Our team will be available to help you select plants for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, sunny gardens, shady spaces, and more.
Build-a-Pollinator-Pot
Visit our DIY Planting Bar and create a custom pollinator container garden using colorful annuals and pollinator-friendly plants. Choose your plants, arrange your design, and build a beautiful container that attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds right at home.

Birdhouse Workshop:
Pollinator Perches
Spend an evening in the greenhouse after hours creating a one-of-a-kind birdhouse designed to attract birds to your pollinator garden and backyard habitat.
Participants will paint and decorate their own birdhouse while enjoying the peaceful greenhouse atmosphere after closing.
